
Dr. Matthew Dodd obtained his Ph.D. from University College London in 2018. From 2019 to 2021, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher (Supervisor: Pro. Chao Li)at China University of Geosciences - Wuhan. Currently, he serves as a Forrest Fellow at the University of Western Australia and a visiting scholar introduced by Professor Chao Li at Chengdu University of Technology. Dr. Dodd is dedicated to researching the origins of Earth’s oldest life and developing new techniques for reconstructing the geological history of atmospheric and oceanic temperatures and chemical compositions. He has published 16 scientific papers, including 2 in Nature, as well as articles in Nature Communications, EPSL, and GCA, among others.
